Who we are
CDCP Guide is operated by Deep Dive Dev Inc., a Canadian company based in Edmonton, Alberta. We are the data controller for the information described here, and we are an independent guide, not affiliated with the Government of Canada.
What we collect
Only what's needed. While you use the eligibility checker, your answers stay in your browser as broad income bands (not exact figures) and are not sent to us. If you choose to be matched with a dentist, we collect the name, email, phone number, and postal code you enter.
The eligibility check runs in your browser
The eligibility verdict is computed on your device. Nothing is stored unless you explicitly opt in to be matched or contacted.
How we use it
To give you an eligibility estimate, to connect you with a participating dentist near you when you ask, and (with your consent) to email you matches and a plain-language summary of your coverage. We never sell your personal information.
Sharing with dentists
We share your details with a dentist only after you consent. Dentists pay us for fixed-fee listings and advertising, never a per-patient referral fee.
Where your data is stored
Leads are stored with Supabase in a Canadian region (Toronto), in line with Quebec's Law 25, and our site is delivered through Cloudflare's network. We do not sell or rent your information.
How long we keep it
Your eligibility answers are never stored. If you submit contact details, we keep them only as long as needed to help you find care, and we delete them on request.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. Requests are free.
Data security
We use HTTPS for data in transit, store leads in Canada with access limited to those who need it, and write to our database with a server-only key that is never exposed to your browser.
Children
CDCP Guide isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. We'll post any changes here and update the date above.
